Hotel Cable Plant Design & Management
The first step is the Request for Proposal (RFP), detailing
specifications which comprehensively define a project's components,
including cabling, terminations, labeling, and testing requirements.
The drawing set includes: floor plans with every voice/data/video
device located and identified, dimensioned equipment room enlarged
plans and wall/rack elevations, and a complete list of materials needed
including manufacturer part number and quantities.

O'Neal Consultants begins a bid review and analysis process, working
with only pre-qualified contractors who meet our stringent standards
including required certifications and trained technicians. We make sure
that the complete scope of work is included by each bidding contractor
prior to contract award, and prepare a bid analysis comparison which
reviews scope, labor hours, as well as dollars.

O'Neal Consultants' unique resources provide our clients with a
distinct advantage. O'Neal Consultants works directly with the
installers to firmly establish the scope and schedule of the project.
By designing the RFP as a labor-only contract, the client learns what
materials are necessary, enabling the purchase of materials at cost,
without the contractor mark-up.

O'Neal Consultants' engineering staff includes highly qualified
BICSI-certified designers (Building Industry Consulting Services
International) whose areas of certification include RCDD (Registered
Communications Distribution Designer) and LAN Specialist. O'Neal
Consultants is also licensed in 27 states to perform all critical power
electrical design with PE (Professional Engineering) Licenses.
