O’Neal Consultants can perform telephone department financial and operational audits on a comprehensive list of subjects that directly affect revenue, cost, and quality of service for the guests and staff of the hotel. This may include the operation of the hotel’s telephone system and call accounting system; cost and quality of service from the local, long-distance, and data carriers; handling of invoices by the accounting staff; performance by the equipment maintenance vendors; and handling of calls by hotel operators or other staff.
As independent consultants, we are focused on the client’s optimization and can customize an audit to cover every possible combination of issues or simply just focus on a particular problem related to the phone system, call accounting system or carrier billing or performance. O’Neal can perform audits through an on-site visit to the hotel or in many cases remotely depending on the requirements and availability of on-site personnel to assist.
We present the results of the audit in a comprehensive report delineating the identified problems, what is likely needed to correct them, and the impact on profitability and quality of service. The hotel can then decide what it may want to correct on its own or engage O’Neal Consultants to take on the responsibility to manage correction of problems it chooses to correct. We will work with the hotel staff and any carrier or maintenance provider necessary to correct the problem and verify the results.
